About Terranox

Terranox is a strategic consultancy that helps mission-driven organizations turn complexity into clarity—and data into durable impact. Over our five years together we have strived to build a different kind of consultancy. Leveraging our team average of 8+ years of Salesforce Non-profit experience and led by partners with 30+ years in nonprofit leadership and salesforce development. We are forming an AI-first consultant team – one that is powered-by, driven-by and supported-by agentic tools.

We are a team of nonprofit and technology veterans who understand the day-to-day challenges our clients face. We believe that technology should serve people, not the other way around. Our culture is friendly, approachable, and deeply empathetic. We use AI not to replace the human connection, but to handle the operational heavy lifting—giving us more time to listen, strategize, and build relationships.

The Opportunity

We are at a pivotal inflection point. We are expanding our team to tackle larger transformations, and we are adopting an AI-Supported, Human-First methodology.

We need a Senior Consultant to join us as a true thought partner, taking ownership of 2-3 strategic projects. You will use AI to accelerate the “task stuff”—documentation, configuration, and data creation—so you can focus on the “human stuff” – understanding the mission, guiding the client, and ensuring adoption.

This is a growth role. We want to grow and provide more impact in our communities. As we scale, there will be open opportunities to lead distinct practice areas (e.g., Nonprofit Delivery Lead, Public Sector Lead). You won’t just be implementing Salesforce; you will be helping build a firm that proves high-tech delivery can still be high-touch.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Engagement Ownership (Human-Led, AI-Enabled)

  • Own the lifecycle of 2-3 strategic projects. Act as the primary functional lead, serving as the steady, empathetic guide for clients navigating complex change.
  • Lead “Clarity before Complexity” workshops. Use AI tools in the background to capture notes and synthesize patterns, allowing you to remain fully present in the room, listening deeply to client needs.
  • Rapid Prototyping for Better Feedback. Use tools like Claude Code and Cursor to prototype solutions rapidly. We do this not just for speed, but to give clients something tangible to react to sooner, reducing their anxiety and ensuring we build exactly what they need.

Solution Quality & Team Coordination

  • Bridge the gap between “Consultant” and “Builder.” You are the functional strategist who understands the mission. Use AI to translate that mission into technical specs (flows, schemas, stories) that our Engineers can refine.
  • Enforce “Systems that Serve People.” Review all outputs—whether human or AI-generated—through an empathetic lens. Does this make the user’s life easier? Is it accessible? Is it kind? You are the quality gate that ensures efficient code never results in a frustrating user experience.
  • Drive adoption of the Agentic SDLC. Help us operationalize our AI strategy so the whole team can work with less friction and more focus.

Client Management

  • Deliver “Incremental Excellence.” Use our accelerated pace to build trust. By delivering value in days rather than weeks, you reduce project fatigue and keep the client excited about the transformation.
  • Be the Friendly Expert. Our clients rely on us to be their approachable tech team. You will demystify technical concepts and ensure they feel supported, never overwhelmed.

Who You Are

  • The Empathetic Partner: You understand that nonprofit work is hard. You approach every client interaction with patience and a genuine desire to make their day easier.
  • The Agentic Operator: You are hungry to remove administrative friction. You use AI (LLMs, Cursor, etc.) to clear the path so you can focus on high-value work. You treat AI as your “operational engine” that powers your strategic consulting.
  • The Translator: You speak fluent “Nonprofit Operations” and fluent “Salesforce.” You can explain a complex data model to an Executive Director and a complex prompt strategy to a Developer.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5-7+ years total in Salesforce consulting, specifically within the Nonprofit/Social Impact sector.
  • Leadership Requirement: 2-4 years of direct project leadership. You have graduated from “ticket taker” to “roadmap owner.”

AI & Modern Delivery:

  • AI Hunger: Demonstrable experience using LLMs to define work, generate documentation, or accelerate builds. You should be excited to work in an environment using Cursor, Agentforce, and Claude Code.
  • DevOps Awareness: Familiarity with modern deployment flows (e.g., Gearset, Git-based workflows) is highly preferred.

Technical Expertise:

    • Strong expertise overseeing tools using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Flow, and Salesforce configuration.
    • Deep understanding of Salesforce integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures).
    • Experience with data modeling, ETL tools, and data migration strategies.
    • Experience in documenting business processes and wire-framing system designs using process flow diagram tools, sequence diagrams, etc. as well as making recommendations for future state improved processes and system designs.
    • Technical Expertise: Proven experience designing and implementing complex, multi-cloud Salesforce solutions (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and NPC).

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $100,000 – $140,000
  • Bonus: Eligible for performance-based bonus
