It’s no secret that technology can help people work better together. And our co-founders, Arthur Price and Bhanu Tanaka, found this to be true five years ago when they first worked together implementing Salesforce at Capable, a nonprofit Arthur and Terranox continue to serve. Capable works directly with local families in Uganda by providing them access to the training and resources they need to become small commercial farmers, and their 50+ person team uses Salesforce to deliver and manage performance to this day.
The value Salesforce provided Capable led to conversations and consulting requests while Arthur attended business school USC. Mentored by Bhanu, a software architect with 12+ years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, they began tackling independent contracts for small and medium-size organizations together. Those contracts led to more until they decided to make the partnership official by forming Terranox in 2021.
We began with an impact focus and continue to prioritize partnerships with nonprofit organizations while helping both for-profit and nonprofit clients. One major partner is Purple Maiʻa Foundation, a nonprofit training Salesforce professionals in Hawaii. Building on these partnerships, we aim to bridge the gap between strong business management and impact through excellent operational systems. People and systems can and will achieve progressive impact when constructed properly, and we’re passionate about seeing more.
Cultivating the Values that Drive Us
People are the root of everything. And as a company, we know the best way to grow is by helping team members reach their full potential. That means connecting each member to our Terranox mission and continuously cultivating a culture that works cohesively toward a shared purpose. These first principles allow our team to achieve goals together and achieve even greater things with our clients. After all, studies say that happiness makes people more productive at work.
Great work starts with great values, and everything we do begins with clarity, trust, empathy, curiosity, and multiplication.
We believe Trust is the foundation of all relationships. We want to ensure our clients trust us to understand and meet their needs. Clarity is a crucial principle for us at Terranox. Nothing should be left unclear or up for interpretation internally or with our clients.
The best solutions and relationships begin with Empathy. We strive to embody empathy in how we listen, design, and deliver. Curiosity drives us forward as an organization – we want to learn from everyone we meet and ask questions that help us understand more about each other, our clients, and ourselves.
Finally, Multiplication means we want to bring value back into the world. We want to see our clients implement systems and processes based on these same principles. Moreover, we want to expand and share beyond our organization into the Salesforce ecosystem. Knowing how many people benefit from our work makes it easier for us to continue doing what we do!
Growing the Terranox + Salesforce Partnership
With years of experience under our belts, we decided to make it official and became a Salesforce Consulting Partner in July.
Clients can trust that they’re working with pros who love helping companies and nonprofits improve processes, grow their impact, and get the most out of Salesforce. “This partnership gives our growth a bit more credibility as we aim to help more organizations clarify their processes,” said Arthur Price, Terranox Managing Partner, and Business Lead.
Your team, plus our team? The dream team.
